About Space

The Planet Jupiter
There are lots of interesting things to learn about space, from Jupiter, the biggest planet in our solar system, 250 degrees (f) on the surface and 50,000 degrees (f) in the core, to Pluto, discovered as being a star, otherwise being the smallest of the planets.

In space, there are large groups of stars that make up constellations.
A constellation is a group of stars that form a recognizable shape or picture.

An American called Neil Armstrong was the first person ever to walk on the moon. His spacecraft was called the Apollo 11 and it took them 4 days to travel from Earth to the moon.  They landed on 20th July, 1969.
